Hyundai has equipped the i20 with a simple yet powerful 3-cylinder, turbocharged 1.0-litre petrol engine. The mild-hybrid technology, incorporating a small electric motor and battery, helps save fuel. For enthusiasts seeking even more performance, there is the i20 N, which features a 1.6-litre turbocharged engine.
Despite its compact size, the i20 feels like a larger car. Premium surfaces and 2-tone dashboards on select models create an airy and stylish ambiance. The dash features stretched air vents, and an 8 or 10.25-inch infotainment screen with crisp graphics and navigation.
