Top Kia EV6 Features

Great driving range.

Spacious cabin.

  • The Kia EV6 was designed from the start to be a spacious electric car. It offers a roomy cabin up front for the driver and passenger, while in the rear there’s a flat floor and almost limo-like legroom. The rear bench also has enough space to seat three people – the sloping roofline will only bother the very tallest of passengers.

The boot of the Kia EV6 opens like a hatchback and offers 490 litres of space. Top-of-the-range GT-Line S versions even come with a powered tailgate. The rear seats can also split-fold 60:40, with handy switches in the boot to do this automatically. There’s also a small storage compartment under the bonnet, ideal for keeping charging cables out of the way.

  • All versions of the Kia EV6 use a 77.4kWh battery, which is good for a 1-charge range in excess of 300 miles. The absolute best for mile range is in fact the rear-wheel-drive EV6, with up to 328 miles possible on a full battery.

The all-wheel-drive EV6 offers even more performance, with just a slight drop in range, with up to 314 miles possible on a fully charged battery. The Kia EV6 has proven to be one of the most efficient EVs on sale.

    Rapid Charging For The EV6

The EV6 is special when it comes to charging too, with some of the fastest charging speeds thanks to the 800-volt architecture for its electrical systems – a feature it shares with the top-end Porsche Taycan and Audi E-Tron GT cars.

Find a high-power 350kW charging station and you can get your EV6’s battery to 80% in as little as 18 minutes. Using one of the more plentiful 50kW chargers, it will take about an hour to get to 80% charge. At home, it will take about 11 hours to charge the EV6 to full using a 7kW wallbox.

EV6 Leasing Models Available

All versions of the EV6 come as a 5-door, 5-seat crossover with a 77.4kWh battery. The main difference between versions is the number of motors driving the wheels.

Lease the Kia EV6 rear-wheel drive and you’ll get a motor driving the rear wheels, with 228hp and a range of up to 328 miles. The Kia EV6 with all-wheel drive uses two motors to deliver power to all four wheels, with 325hp and 314 miles of range.

Compare Your Kia EV6 Lease Deal

A Kia EV6 lease is an excellent choice if you’re looking to drive one of the all-round best electric cars. The EV6 looks great and has some of the best technology among its rivals.

The Kia EV6’s main rival is the Hyundai Ioniq 5 because they are built on the same underpinnings, but the EV6 offers a sportier drive and cosier cabin than the Ioniq 5.

The Kia can also count electric SUVs such as the Tesla Model Y, Volkswagen ID.4 and Skoda Enyaq as rivals. The EV6 is cheaper than the Model Y and its cabin outshines all three.

  • It's too new a car to say at this stage, but being a Kia and being electric means it’s likely not to cause too many problems. The EV6 is also covered by the manufacturer's much-vaunted 7-year warranty for extra peace of mind, in the highly unlikely event that anything should go wrong.

  • The Kia EV6 has a 490-litre boot that can expand to 1,300 litres with the rear seats folded down. There’s also extra storage under the bonnet where the engine would be in a petrol or diesel car. You’ll find 52 litres there in rear-wheel-drive versions and 20 litres in all-wheel-drive versions – ideal for storing the car’s charging cables.

  • The Kia EV6 is available in three trim levels – Air, GT-Line, and GT-Line S, with all models packed with premium features.

  • Yes, even the entry-level EV6 model has rear parking sensors and a reversing camera.

  • The Kia EV6 with rear-wheel drive has the longest range – up to 328 miles on a single battery charge.

  • So far, there's a 228hp version and a 325hp version of the EV6, and neither is what you'd call slow. The former does 0-62mph in 7.3 seconds, while the latter dashes to the benchmark in 5.2 seconds. However, towards the end of 2022, a phenomenal 585hp version called the Kia EV6 GT will arrive, capable of sprinting to 0-62mph in just 3.5 seconds and going on to a top speed of 161mph.

  • Leasing a Kia EV6 with Vanarama is the smartest way to upgrade your car. Not only will you get the best price guaranteed, but there are also no hidden fees. You can add on servicing and maintenance packages too, fully customising your deal to suit your needs. We’re rated Excellent on Trustpilot and our team of experts can help you find your ideal car leasing deal today.
