Classy drive.

  • Mercedes-Benz has given the EQB a little bit of an edge in the market with 7 seats as standard in every model, spread over three rows. The EQB’s boxy design means that there is lots of headroom inside, while legroom in the back seats is good. The two extra seats fold neatly into the boot floor when not in use and are ideal for kids. The seats in the second row can also slide forward to make a little bit more legroom for those in the third row.

If you like your boots large and square, look no further. With 5 seats in use, the EQB offers a cavernous 495 litres of boot space and there’s also a powered tailgate included as standard on every version. In 7-seat mode, there’s still enough space for a few bags.

  • Mercedes’ battery technology so far seems to deliver well on efficiency. All versions of the EQB use a 66.5kWh battery, which promises an electric driving range of up to 257 miles regardless of which version you opt for.

  • The EQB offers many options when it comes to charging. With a maximum charging rate of 100kW, you can get up to 80% charge in about 30 minutes at a high-power DC charging station.

Realistically most drivers will be charging at home, where it will take about nine hours to charge to a full battery using a standard 7kW charging point. The EQB has the bonus of an 11kW AC onboard charger, which can cut charging the battery to under six hours with the right charge point.

EQB Leasing Models Available

All versions of the Mercedes-Benz EQB come as a 5-door, 7-seat SUV. All come with two motors and 4-wheel drive. There’s a choice of the power output for those motors, with one making the EQB a bit faster and more powerful than the other.

When you lease the EQB 300 4Matic, you’re getting an electric SUV with 228hp. Go for the EQB 350 4Matic and power is boosted to 292hp.

Mercedes-Benz EQB Trim Levels

Trim Levels Available: AMG Line, AMG Line Premium

There are 2 trim levels available across the EQB range. Every EQB comes well equipped with standard features such as 18-inch alloy wheels, sporty AMG styling kit, a pair of 10-inch digital displays, heated front seats, synthetic leather upholstery, reversing camera and a powered tailgate.

  • The EQB is based on the popular GLB SUV, so it should perform similarly. Plus, as it is electric there are fewer moving parts as well. There’s a 3-year warranty as standard, as well as an 8-year/100,000-mile warranty for the battery.

  • The EQB has a 495-litre boot when all 5 seats are in place, however, this can expand to 1,710 litres when the rear seats are let down. If you want to use the two extra seats in the third row, there is just enough space left in the boot for a few bags.

  • Yes, there are 7 seats as standard across three rows. The two extra seats in the third row will fold neatly into the boot floor when not needed.

  • The Mercedes-Benz EQB is available in two trim levels – AMG Line and AMG Line Premium.

  • Yes, all versions have front and rear parking sensors, as well as a reversing camera.

  • Both versions use the same 66.5kWh battery and are dual motor, 4-wheel drive. But the difference is the power output of those motors. The EQB 300 produces 228hp, while the EQB 350 produces 292hp.
